The 8cm mortar has been a great asset to the infantry over the past few years. The small, portable weapons are able to place enough fire over the heads of the enemy to keep them pinned in their holes.

This new pack features SS crew in SS-camouflage smocks to supplement the packs already available with the GE725 with Heer crew and GE765 with Fallschirmjäger crew.

L4 Grasshopper Air Observation Post (US950)

The L4 Grasshopper was a useful addition to the US artillery batteries supporting the Allied war machine. They could fly above the battlefield and observe enemy movement and positions. After a short radio message back to fire control, HE rounds would begin landing on the enemy's head!

The light aircraft could hop over trees, hills and other obstacles and surpise the enemy. Before they could react the radio message giving away their position was already away and shells incoming!

The L4 was a militarised version of the popular civlian Piper Cub, which is often distinguished by its common bright yellow colour. The main difference was that the L4 added additional windows to increase the observer's visability

As well the Luftwaffe FlaK troops the 3.7cm FlaK43 anti-aircraft gun also found its way in the hands of Waffen-SS. They keep the ‘Jabo’ fighter-bombers away from their high-value assets like the artillery and heavy anti-tank weapons. The 3.7cm FlaK43 guns are a must have for any Waffen-SS force and are excellent defence against Allied Typhoons and P-47 fighter-bombers.

In a pinch these anti-aircraft guns can be used to break up infantry assaults. The Waffen-SS had no qualms about turning their weapons on to ground targets.

Black and Brown Shades are coloured washes specifically formulated to settle into recesses, accentuating detail and greatly speeding painting time. Whether used to add depth to the basecoat or as a final detailing step, the Shades will also enhance the durability of any paint job. Try diluting the washes and mixing them together to vary the effects they produce.

Decal Softener (202):
Decal Softener helps decals adhere and conform to the shape of the model, giving them a pleasing ‘painted on’ look. Apply before and after decal is positioned.

Gloss Varnish (510):
A shiny coat perfect for emulating glassy surfaces such as windscreens and headlights. When used as a basecoat for decals, it can help prevent silvering of the decal.

Matt Varnish (520):
Matt Varnish provides a protective seal which removes gloss and gives your miniatures an even, flat finish. This also makes the colours on your miniature more vibrant.

Liquid Mask (523):
Liquid Mask is a removable stencil which can be used to selectively preserve painted areas. Perfect for creating hard-edged camouflage patterns.

Ernst Barkmann was a farmer’s son born in Holstein, Germany, on 25 August 1919. At the age of sixteen he applied for service with the elite Waffen-SS, the armed force of the Nazi Party.
Oberscharführer Barkmann is a Warrior mounted in a Panther A tank, and is a Platoon Command team rated as Fearless Veteran. Barkmann is an Independent team.

Oberscharführer Barkmann may replace a Panther Platoon Command team for +60 points in an SS-Panzerkompanie or may join any other SS Company on his own with his Panther tank for +275 points as an SS-Panzer Platoon support choice. Special Rules

Ace: Barkmann is known for his ability to target and destroy Allied tanks.

Barkmann always gets to re-roll misses with his Panther’s 7.5cm KwK42 gun.

Stalker: Barkmann is able to use the terrain and find ways to attack his enemy from concealed positions, remaining virtually undetected while he destroys tank after tank.

If Barkmann is shot at he is counted as Gone to Ground if he is Concealed and did not move in his own turn, even if he did shoot in his turn.

The flames are made from 100% acrylic "wool" and make excellent markers for destroyed tanks and vehicles. They can also be used to make Smoke bombardments from your artillery or direct fire Smoke from guns and tanks.
